Fall is here, and pests are getting ready to move in. Modern Pest Services’ latest survey of 1,004 homeowners finds that 1 in 5 notice more pests in the fall than any other season.
More than half (55%) plan to take a proactive approach to fall pest control, and it’s easy to see why:
- The average spend on pest control damage in the past 5 years was $650
- 16% think they see more pests now than 5 years ago
- 1 in 5 are concerned about pest-related diseases
How are pests getting indoors? 59% believe neighbors are at least partially to blame. The top pests they’re trying to prevent include ants (66%), spiders (60%), and rodents (58%).
